BBR 2018 College & Career Expo

Dear Students, Parents and Faculty:

You are invited to attend the Badlands Bad River College & Career Expo 2018!

It will be held at Wall High School from 1-3 PM on Thursday, March 29th.  We are changing things up a bit this year.  Instead of an all-day event, it will be an afternoon event.

Reps from colleges, universities and vocational schools will be available to answer questions, give out literature and provide information about applying for scholarships and financial aid.

Local businesses will be looking for talent to fill positions now and in the future, along with raising awareness about the importance of college and vocational education necessary to fill positions in their organizations.

In addition to this, we will be hosting Career Cluster Round tables where local businesses and community members will share their stories. For instance, how they got into their chosen field, education requirements for the profession and what a typical day on the job is like.

High School and middle school students and parents are encouraged to attend.  Admission is free.

Here is your opportunity to:

Meet with College Reps & Employers·

Get answers to your questions about planning for college

Hear about career opportunities in our area and life experience in those fields

Explore your career interests, get connected with different professions and have a change to learn from their expertise

Gain an understanding about the relevance of higher education

Stay informed of career-related programs, and special opportunities available

We look forward to seeing you.  You don’t want to miss this opportunity!
