College/VoTech To Do List

_____Take the ACT or Accuplacer Assessment (retake if necessary).

_____Write down or memorize your social security number.

_____Complete applications to colleges or votechs.

_____Pay application fee/s (typically only for colleges). Free College Application Week - October 2-November 30 - No application fees to BHSU, SDSU, DSU, USD, NSU, SD Mines, MTI, LATI, SET and WDT.

_____Ask Mrs. DeJong to send your official transcript to the college/votech.

_____Complete the college/votech scholarship application (usually located on their website).

_____Check your email daily for information about your acceptance and other pertinent college information.

_____Register for the NCAA or NAIA if you are going to participate in college athletics.

_____Complete the FAFSA in October, or as soon thereafter, as possible.

_____Sign up for student housing and pay housing fee, or find off campus housing.
